Capacity of the Ombudsman
If you have any complaints concerning the work of IAESTE, you may contact the Ombudsman.
The function of the Ombudsman is to act as an impartial mediator between IAESTE and students, who feel deprived by actions of represantatives of IAESTE.
Complaints have to be issued to the Ombudsman not later then 6 months after the occurance of the dipute.
A written complaint has to be send to the responsible National Secratary of IAESTE beforehand. If the issue has not be resolved to the satisfaction of the parties, the Ombudsman may be contacted.
All complaints are handled in confidence. Without the consent of the complainant no information will be submitted to a third party.
The Ombudsman issues an annually report about submitted complaints an reports proposals of solution and preventice measures to the General Conference.
