Work Offered

Work Description: The intern will support and assist with the administration of a variety of internship programs in Germany, Spain, Argentina, Chile, and the UK, through organization, attention to detail, and customer service. Program Administration• Filing applications, depositing/requesting checks, maintaining participant database, health insurance enrollment, conducting telephone interviews with applicants• Prepare application materials to be sent to host companies, including drafting summaries of applicants and revising resumes and application essays in German and English• Research potential host companies via internet, directories and other sources• Solicit companies in Germany for internshipsCustomer Service• Answers program inquiries via phone/e-mail/mail • Communicates with applicants, potential host companies and Cultural Vistas partners • Communicates with current & potential participantsProfessional Development• Develops and maintains knowledge of visa regulations, Cultural Vistas policies and their applications• Develops and maintains industry knowledge • Takes proactive approach to improve business functions and workflow within department• Works in accordance with the mission, goals, values, and strategic direction of Cultural Vistas
